Ashley joined the Poodle and Pooch Rescue board in 2025 and has been a dedicated volunteer with the organization, doing everything from fostering, planning and leading events, developing fundraisers, fixing website issues to being a foster coordinator to support other fosters. Known for her big heart and her inability to say no, Ashley routinely opens her home to some of PPR’s most challenging cases and currently cares for a full house of permanent dogs and fosters, including dogs recovering from trauma.
Ashley credits her first foster fail, Oliver, for helping her support shy and fearful dogs and allowing them to blossom in a safe, loving environment. With the full support of her husband and son, Ashley also assists with dog transports and hands-on care for anxious dogs. Her passion for rescue and commitment to long-term healing make her an invaluable part of the PPR family
“Every single day I notice a little bit of progress in one of my dogs from a hoarding case. Watching these dogs feel safe and happy makes it all worth it.” – Ashley
