Lizzie injured her leg when she was first in her foster home, and was on crate rest while she healed. Then she was ready to be listed for adoption. But, it turned out that her fosters, who had helped her recover and grow strong over the past few months, just could not give her up. They have officially made Lizzie part of the family.
