Biscuit is an 2 year old German Shephard mix that was brought into PPR care after PPR answered an emergency call from a rescuer in South Florida who had found her in the Redlands, a notorious dumping ground for unwanted animals. Biscuit was in very bad condition and had many open wounds. PPR arranged for her to be taken immediately to an emergency clinic where her wounds were treated and her condition was stabilized. After Biscuit was transported to Central Florida and evaluated by one of PPR’s veterinary partners, the young girl was placed into foster care with Julie and Kevin, and their daughter, Jenna. They did not realize at that time that their lives would be forever changed by this affectionate girl, and they soon recognized that she was destined to become a member of their family. Her new fur siblings, Sully and Gumbo, voted paws up to give her a permanent place in the pack. Now named Roo, this sweet girl has embraced her new life and is deliriously happy to be home. Welcome home, Biscuit/Roo!
