Fernando is another dog that was dumped in South Florida. A Good Samaritan found him, picked him up and asked PPR to help; fortunately, PPR was able. He is a sweet Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua mix that at first seems a little shy but after a few minutes becomes a friendly, happy and kissy little guy. At intake he was estimated to be approximately 2 years old and 14 lbs; he needed to be neutered and to have his vaccinations brought up to date but was otherwise a healthy little guy. His new owners recently lost a pooch and knew something was missing in their lives. When the saw Fernando’s listing on the PPR website, something about him reminded them of their former dog and knew that they had to meet him. When they met Fernando they knew immediately that he was the one! When he got to their home he wasted no time and started to run around the house playing with squeaky balls. He willingly shares his toys with his new human sister, and his mom is obsessed. Welcome home, Fernando!
