This spunky and devilishly handsome gentleman came to PPR after being pulled by a local shelter. We suspect Herbie has experienced some abuse before ending up at the shelter. He had horrible pneumonia, a collapsing trachea, and a pocket of air puffed up while he breathed. After sending Herbie to a specialist, it was discovered that he has a herniated lung that causes him to breathe like a frog, with a large pocket of air under his skin. There is no treatment for this, and, he is more susceptible to illnesses. However, he has lovely forever foster parents that adore him, and as you can see from the pic, the adoration is mutual. Thank you, Faiza and Ed, for loving sweet Herbie.
