Benny is home!

Benny was picked up as a stray by a Good Samaritan; she called the local shelter but was told they were at capacity and could not take any more animals. PPR was contacted and was able to intervene and take the cute boy into their care.  He is a young Havanese mix, very sweet and kissy, but severely matted and covered in burrs.  Luckily, he’s a young dog so no major medical issues.  PPR’s veterinary gave him all of his vaccines, attended to all of his medical needs and cleaned him up before placing him into foster care.  His stay in foster was not long, because soon his new parents saw his listing on PPR’s website and fell in love.  They are over the moon happy to welcome little Benny into their family.  Benny quickly took to his Dad, whom he loves to snuggle with.  He also loves the special food his Mom feeds him and is already putting on weight.  The family has a lovely RV that they travel in and little Benny gets to go in style in his special seat.  PPR alum Remi is his new sister and they make quite the team…she even asked her Mom and Dad to add Benny’s picture on the wheel cover on the back of their Jeep.  Welcome home, Benny!
