Gus came to Poodle and Pooch Rescue after being abandoned at a local shelter. He was emaciated, covered in fleas, and lethargic. Our vet said he would not have lasted much longer had PPR not intervened. Gus had an infected tongue and was unable to eat. After being held and given tiny bites of food, antibiotics, and around-the-clock care, Gus started to perk up. He also has a pancreatic condition requiring supplements to digest his food correctly. Fast forward, you wouldn’t know this senior was ever sick. He is living his best life every day with Mister Biscuit, thanks to Irene. Just look at his smile!
