Jes and her family of boys had recently lost their two senior dogs. The family dynamic wasn’t the same…they felt they needed another dog in their lives but did not yet feel they were ready to adopt. They decided that fostering would be the best solution for their dilemma. Their first foster experience went very well; the new family was a wonderful match for their canine charge and they were able to happily send him off to his new forever home. So they decided to foster another, and along came Otis. Otis arrived and he decided he wasn’t going anywhe – he decided to adopt them! Working his magic, Otis became besties with Jes’ 9 year old son who told her that Otis was “…a piece of his heart.” That sealed the deal and now Otis is officially home!
