Bob and Theresa were initially interested in another PPR dog. They were disappointed to learn he had already been adopted, but as firm believers that “everything happens for a reason,” they continued their search for a rescue. At work, Theresa’s client showed her a photo of the dog she was fostering, a handsome boy with a beautiful auburn coat named Willie. The reaction was instant: as Theresa put it, “…my heart filled with love.” She could not believe it when she learned Willie was a PPR dog. For Theresa, this was no coincidence, “this was fate, 100%.” She added, “he seemed to find his way to us.” This pint-sized bundle of love captured his humans’ hearts, and there was no turning back. Willie is delighted to have such doting parents and often accompanies Theresa to work. He is a central part of their lives and is cherished beyond measure.
