Trixie is a cute Jack Russell Terrier mix that was surrendered to a local shelter because her owner could no longer care for her. At intake she was estimated to be about 3.5 years old, weighed 24 pounds, had already been spayed and was said to be very sweet. PPR’s vetting partners brought her vaccines up-to-date, cleaned her teeth, gave her a microchip and she was placed into foster care. It took a few months for this sweet girl with an adorable underbite to find her perfect home, but ultimately she landed where she was meant to be. Trixie is the queen canine in her home with no other dogs in the house (she does have a kitty roommate, though). Her family had been looking for a pup to make their family feel complete. They have a laid-back household…they love to take walks and watching TV, just like Trixie…a perfect fit. Welcome home, Trixie!
