Tanner’s story he came into PPR care is rather sad: his owner was an elderly lady who had passed away, and had not able to properly take care of him for some time. The owner’s neighbor took Tanner in and gave him great care, but knew Tanner would benefit from being in a home with people who are home more often than not. Adopters Arlene and Pete had recently lost their beloved Shih Tzu, Biscuit, and were ready to open their home and their heart to another Shih-Tzu. They met Tanner and they instantly knew he was the guy to help fill their hearts with more puppy love.
