Taffie’s life was turned upside down when her owner passed away. She was a middle-aged girl, very sweet and gentle, but had some of the health issues that arise when one is carrying more weight than one should. Heidi was looking for a companion for herself and her mother. Heidi is a nurse, so she was not deterred by Taffie’s medical concerns; the important issue for Heidi was determining if Taffie’s disposition would be a good fit for her mother. Taffie did not disappoint – her mellow demeanor proved to be a perfect fit. Now, Taffie again has a home of her own with a loving family that will cherish her.
