Sunny is a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix that had been picked up as a stray by animal control and taken to a shelter where she was never claimed. Upon intake into PPR care she was determined to be about 10 months old by PPR’s veterinary partners and weighed 15 pounds. The shelter reported that she was a very sweet girl but was sometimes a little nervous around big, rambunctious dogs. All of her vaccinations and were done at the shelter, but PPR made sure she had been spayed and microchipped before placing her into foster care to await her new forever home. Sunny’s new parents were looking to expand their family and find a companion for their current dog, Padme, a four year-old Corgi/Australian Shepherd mix. Sunny’s new family works from home in a peaceful neighborhood where Sunny and Padme will get their walks. Welcome home, Sunny!
