Adopters Sharon and Victor “have always had pets as an important part of our family.” They and their 10-year-old Chi-terrier-Beagle mix, Toni, were mourning the loss of their beloved dog who recently passed away. When they came across Scruffy they thought she would complete their family nicely. It didn’t matter that she was on medication for an enlarged heart and heart murmur, all they saw before them was a sweet and gentle girl so deserving of the best in life. Scruffy has bonded nicely with her parents and fur sister. She is so happy in her home that she does zoomies in the yard! She is part of a loving family and gets everything she desires and needs, just as she should. Welcome home, Scruffy!
