Priscilla came into PPR care with a shattered pelvis; the local animal shelter had picked her up as a stray and reached out to PPR to provide the level of care she needed. Priscilla was a middle-aged dog, un-spayed and had a pronounced heart murmur. Needless to say, Priscilla required a lot of care. Ultimately, Priscilla’s hip was repaired, she was spayed and declared ready for adoption. Adopter Elaine is retiree who missed having a dog in her home. She met Priscilla and fell instantly in love. Elaine is aware of Priscilla’s ongoing medical needs and is ready, willing and able to give her the all of the care and love she needs.
