This spunky little lady may be 9 years old, but she is still in her prime. Honey-sweet, affable and playful, Portia is always up for affection and merriment. She did not let years of neglect break her spirit or define her; instead, she approaches life with a joyful heart. With this positive outlook, she fought and triumphed over heartworm disease. Only one thing was missing from her life, a family of her own. Sandee and John, and their children, Steven and Ali, opened their door and welcomed Portia home. Fur brother, Scooter, and feline siblings, Aiden and Vesper, accepted her into the fold. Portia is now surrounded by love, and living in the lap of luxury!
