Pepperoni is a very good senior yorkie/poodle mix boy who was very much loved by his owner; unfortunately, she was not in the best of health and not able to physically care for him appropriately any longer and surrendered him to PPR. Pepperoni was very overweight on intake; his rabies vaccination was up to date but all other others to be caught up. The PPR vet in charge of his care suspected and confirmed he had Cushing’s Disease. After diagnosis, Pepperoni was placed into foster care for some TLC and observation. When it was determined that his Cushing’s was well managed, he finally had his dental and was placed up for adoption. Adopters Christina and Michael met Pepperoni and were immediately smitten by his charms, and adopted him right away in spite of his age and health issues. We are absolutely confident that Pepperoni will have an awesome life to look forward to with all the joys of a warm home and a loving family.
