Pearl’s story starts in Texas, where she was purchased as a puppy from a Schnoodle (Schnauzer/Poodle mix) breeder. Unfortunately, not long after, her owner passed away and the family was not prepared to keep her. A family friend in Texas for the funeral brought Pearl home to Orlando, where she was ultimately surrendered to PPR. Pearl was placed with foster Shereen, and that is where her journey ends. Shereen and her family immediately fell in love with her, stating “…we could not for a moment think of giving this gorgeous girl up, she is such a joy and a pleasure to have around. Our entire family could not imagine her not being here!” From the start Pearl seemed to love everybody in the family as much as they loved her, but she does seem to have become her Daddy’s girl. Pearl also has a new fur sibling, Sage, who likes to tease Pearl by quietly stealing her toys, but she also allows Pearl to share her sunbeam. Since Pearl has a new home and a new family, it is fitting she now also has a new name, Pretzel. Welcome home, Pretzel!
