Natt’s new parents, Mark and Linda, started off as his foster parents. In the rescue world these occurrences, referred to as “Foster-failures,” happen quite often; Mark and Linda’s story, though, is rather unique. Mark and Linda had recently lost their 15 year old cairn terrier to cancer. When they made the decision to start fostering, they had no idea what was about to happen. They received a notice that Natt, a cairn terrier, needed a foster. They brought Natt home and after only a few days knew that everything had happened for a reason. Natt quickly settled into his new routine and seemed to know he wasn’t going anywhere!
