Molly, an 8 year old Chihuahua mix, and Sophie, a 5 year old Shih-Tzu mix, were surrendered by their owners into PPR care. They are a bonded pair, Sophie depends on Molly for a sense of security. Upon intake both dogs needed to have their teeth cleaned, to have their vaccines brought up to date and to be microchipped; only Sophie needed to be spayed. PPR’s veterinary partners attended to all of their medical issues and then then pair was placed together into foster care. Shortly after they were listed for adoption, the pair of girls were fortunate to find their new forever home together. Molly and Sophie love to wander and explore and now have a fenced yard where they can safely roam. They also like to see a bit of the outside world and their new Mom and Dad plan to walk them a few times a day in their dog-friendly neighborhood, where they will meet many new 4-legged friends. And when it’s time to settle down for the evening, there is a lap for each of these sweet girls. Welcome home, Molly and Sophie!
