Mia came was surrendered to PPR care because her previous owner was not able to properly care for her. When she arrived, she had never seen a veterinarian; needless to say, she had never been on heartworm prevention. Luckily, she’s a young girl, relatively healthy and heartworm negative. When she went into her foster home, she was very timid but did warm up to her foster mother very quickly. Adopters Matthew and Gabriel were looking for a dog that would enjoy both going on adventures and snuggling on the sofa. Instinctively, they knew Mia was their girl. Now Mia has an awesome life to look forward to with all the joys of a warm home and a loving family.
