Adopters Jaime and Paul “love being dog parents,” and feel dogs have “enriched” their lives. After mourning the death of their beloved Ripley, they decided it was time to rescue again. With the blessing of their 5 year-old Yorkie mix girl, Jane Austen, they set out to find a great pooch. In walked Lola, donning her Lab good looks and an endearing, shy-and-sweet disposition. True, she needed a little help with her manners, but these pet enthusiasts do not mind a challenge. Lola adores her new family. She can be found exploring her fenced yard, snuggling with her Mom and Dad, or discussing the classics with her fur sister over a cup of tea and scones.
