Johnny came to PPR after his owner could no longer care for him. He is on medication for a heart murmur and an enlarged heart, and has to be careful not to overexert himself. But this does not mean that he enjoys life any less. In fact, this friendly and affectionate boy embraces life to the fullest and is known to seek every opportunity to snuggle with his person. Maya was looking “for a companion to love and care for.” Although she had grown up with dogs, she was seeking to adopt one of her own for the very first time. Johnny caught her eye and when they met it was obvious they were a perfect duo. The two are now best of friends who are never far apart. Thank you, Maya, for adopting a senior with special needs!
