Sweet senior girl Gidget came to PPR’s attention via the local animal shelter. She was picked up as a stray and was underweight, filthy dirty, severely matted and covered in stickers. She also had a mass on her shoulder which prompted them to ask PPR for assistance. After her treatment plan was in place, Gidget went to live with foster mom Gail, and her dog, Donatello. Gidget, who had been timid and frightened thus far on her journey, warmed right up to Gail and Donatello, and quickly settled into a life of ease, resting on luxurious dog beds and having a readily-available nutritious supply of food. After a short time together, Gail knew she could not fathom the idea of letting Gidget go to another home and decided Gidget was already where she belonged. Gidget, now has a new name, Bunny, to go with her new, wonderful life.
