Dolly is home!

Susan and Tony had been trying to adopt a Shih-Tzu, but they were always taken before they could arrange a meet.  As luck would have it, they were visiting a nearby Humane Society to look for a pup, but there were no small dogs available. The director put them in touch with a PPR volunteer who told them about Dolly. Learning that Dolly is totally deaf and needs daily prescription eye drops didn’t discourage them one bit.  In fact, they “understand the needs of older dogs” since their previous rescues were seniors with medical issues. After meeting Dolly there was no doubt she belonged with them. Dolly can’t wait to explore her large yard and take in all the smells. Susan and Tony are retired, which is a big plus since Dolly suffers from separation anxiety.  Welcome home, Dolly!
