Daphne is a Standard Poodle mix that was picked up as a stray by a local animal control agency. They held her at the shelter to wait for someone to claim her, but nobody did and she ultimately was brought into PPR care. PPR’s vetting team estimated her age to be about 2 years old and she was approximately 43 lbs. The shelter groomed Daphne (reportedly she was extremely matted at intake and was a very good girl during the shearing process) and made sure her vaccines were brought up to date; she still, though, needed to be spayed and microchipped and to have a dental. When she was cleared for foster placement Daphne was placed with Stefani and Andres. Daphne settled in immediately and the whole family quickly fell in love with her! She is such a well-mannered dog that just loves to love and to be loved. Daphne is the second dog that Stefani and Andres have fostered, and well, she just ended up fitting in so perfectly that the couple said…“she completes our family.” Welcome home, Daphne
