Little Poodle/Chihuahua mix Daisy was found on Craig’s List for free; a Good Samaritan came to her rescue because dogs listed on Craig’s List for free don’t often end up in safe, happy, forever homes. Her rescuer then asked PPR to help her find a good forever home. Upon intake PPR’s veterinary partner aged her at about 2 years old and found her weight to be a robust 7 lbs. Since PPR did not have any history on Daisy, the veterinary team assumed she needed all of her vaccines brought up to date and to be spayed. It wasn’t long after Daisy went into foster care that she met her new family. Her new parents are dog lovers who found themselves without a dog in 2022 after both of their senior dogs passed away. They adopted Addie, a 15 lb Chihuahua mix last Fall and were looking for another to add to their family. They chose Daisy and all are getting along great! Daisy has a friend to keep her company and a fenced backyard in which to play. Welcome home, Daisy!
