Clipper was stressed. He had lived in a home for four years with a Chihuahua and a cat until his owner passed away. A pair of well-intentioned elderly widows took him in but kept him outside in a pen for the next year. When one of the widows went into a senior care facility the other decided she could no longer care for the poor pooch, so he was given to a church member. After that did not work out, he was surrendered to a shelter that asked PPR for assistance. That is when Clipper’s life started to change for the better. If PPR had to order the perfect adopter for Clipper, Chase would be it! Chase is a full-time student on the GI Bill and has a flexible schedule. He has time to spend with Clipper, and the energy to go take Clipper out for long walks he loves so much. Clipper now has a big back yard to spend as much time outside as he likes – but his cozy bed will be inside with Chase. Clipper and Chase were made for each other, and have become best friends already.
