Charlie is a tiny 10 year old Maltese/Poodle mix that was surrendered into PPR care by a woman who had become ill and realized she was no longer able to properly care for the little guy. At his intake exam Charlie was very scared but was found to be pretty healthy; PPR’s veterinary partners brought his vaccines up-to-date, gave him a dental and PPR placed him into foster care. Though he had been raised by a woman, he became enamored with his foster mom’s husband – following him around the house and curling up next to him at night. Adopters Brad and Derick saw Charlie’s listing on the PPR website and thought he might make a good addition to their pack. After a rocky start the dogs worked out the kinks and their relationships and everyone is getting along nicely. PPR is confident that Charlie will have a wonderful life with this family. Welcome home, Charlie!
