Sweet, tiny Cassie was a backyard breeders dog…she was deemed as no longer profitable so of no value. PPR did not agree and quickly stepped in and brought Cassie into care. Unfortunately, backyard breeders dogs are generally very neglected. When PPR received the dainty girl into care, she was no exception: she was severely matted, smelled awful and had not received any veterinary care in quite a while. PPR cleaned her up, attended to her medical needs and placed her into foster care for some much needed TLC. Cassie’s new parents adopted Ralphie (now known as Rocco) from PPR in August, and had recently started looking at the PPR website for a fur sibling for him. They came across Cassie’s listing and noticed she was like a female version of Ralphie! It was true love! Rocco and Cassie are going to be spoiled and loved very much, just like these two cuties deserve!
