This pretty young chihuahua mix is only a year-old, but she has already overcome big obstacles. She was rescued from a backyard breeder where she was kept in a kennel outdoors. She did not know what “normal” dog life was like, but her spirit never broke. After meeting Bonita, adopters Jeffrey, Muriel, and Anastasia fell in love with her quiet and gentle nature. Even though her first year was lonely and difficult, Bonita is sure to be shown nothing but love and affection from her new family. She is already best friends with fur sibling, Aurora, and feline sibling, Shade. For the first time, Bonita is filled with joy!
