Blue is a cute Labradoodle girl, estimated to be 13 weeks old when brought into PPR care. She’s playful and gentle, and is very well socialized considering how young she is. PPR’s vetting team discovered she has a fairly severe luxating patella issue that will need to be surgically addressed; however, she is too young to have that surgery yet but will be done when she is fully grown; other than that she is a happy, healthy puppy, ready to get a family of her own! Her adopters are personal friends of one of PPR’s volunteers; she showed the family Blue’s picture and they instantly wanted to meet her. They are familiar with doodles as they have an 11 year old labradoodle boy (he was a little annoyed at first since Blue is a goofy puppy that wants to play all of the time, but he is figuring it out and accepting her silly behavior!). The family consists of mom and dad and 3 children, one still in high school, the other two in college – they were so excited at the new arrival that one of the college kids travelled home for the weekend just to meet Blue. Blue is very happy in her new home and is loving all of the playtime, snuggles and attention from her new family. Welcome home, Blue!
