Becky is another dog that came into PPR care via its rescue partners in Mexico. She was in a hoarding situation, being mistreated and living in deplorable conditions. A neighbor called animal control and the entire pack was removed from the premises; only Becky and one other dog were able to be rescued from the shelter before being euthanized. When brought into PPR care Becky was determined to be a Bull Terrier mix, approximately 2 years old and 40 pounds. Despite her previous living conditions she is incredibly sweet. She was diagnosed as having a spinal issue, likely from a past trauma; when she’s standing still she appears to be fine but is a little wobbly when she walks. Because of the nature of the injury and how it has healed she is not an immediate candidate for surgery but acupuncture and medication appear to help. Adopter Cindy and her family met Becky, fell in love, and will give her all of the care she needs, and all of the love and attention the sweet girl deserves. Welcome home, Becky!
