Alfie came to PPR care suffering from a broken leg. Luckily, he was able to make a full recovery after surgery by one of PPR’s skilled veterinarians to repair the leg, and lots of love and attention during the healing process by his foster family. He made his debut on the PPR website and quickly caught the attention of adopters Jill and Steven, who had been looking for a playmate for their 9-year-old poodle mix, Snoopy. They also pointed out a coincidence that made the match seem like it was destined to be, “Also, we had a cockapoo named Alfie who passed away in 2013 at the age of 16, so we feel like he is meant for us!” At the meet and greet, in keeping with his lover boy reputation, Alfie was generous with his kisses and easily captured their hearts. Jill and Steven are continuing his training so that he can reach his full canine potential. Alfie’s days are filled with lots of rollicking fun and adventure. Welcome home, Alfie!
