Abby is a senior Malti-poo that lived next door to Maria, a very active PPR foster and foster coordinator. When Abby’s previous person had to move into a senior care facility, Maria (with the approval of PPR’s Board) offered to bring Abby under PPR’s care. Maria was already acquainted with the spunky pooch; she knew Abby walked well on a leash, got along well with other dogs and was already housebroken so she took her in herself as a foster. Very soon, though, Maria realized she just couldn’t live without her, so now Abby has a wonder, caring and loving home with Maria and her best-ever fur brother, Buddy.
