If you’ve been following Molly’s journey at PPR, you know that Molly has an autoimmune disorder that causes her skin to be covered in pustules that burst, scab over, and then the scabs fall off. Needless to say it makes her quite uncomfortable.
Recently, Molly enjoyed a morning car ride to just get out of the house and take a look around from the comfort and safety of her car seat.
While her skin is improving, she is still having regular bouts of her pemphigus and is always covered in scabs as the blisters break and shed. She is on a strict regimen of meds and baths and she looks and feels 100 times better. We’re working with Veterinary Dermatology Center in Maitland to get her where she needs to be, and we couldn’t ask for a better team!
In the meantime she is enjoying lots of naps, reorganizing the blankets on her bed, taking toys to bed with her and resting her head on them, and playing with the other pups in the house.
She also really loves Zoom meetings because she gets to sit on her foster mom’s lap and everyone tells her how good she looks. We love you, Molly! 💕
