Juliet
Chihuahua, ,Meet Juliet! This 3-year-old Chihuahua blend weighs 11 lbs. Juliet is looking for a dog-savvy human who can provide her with love, stability, and, of course, lots of snuggles.
- General Behavior: Juliet, while timid at first, is a true snuggle bug once she has determined you to be her "person". She is wary of strangers and needs time to trust that you are a friend, not a foe. She can often be found happily sitting in her human's lap, watching the newest sitcom while getting those highly sought-after ear scratches.
- Likes & Dislikes: Juliet loves the outdoors! She enjoys chasing lizards in the backyard and going for walks. Juliet likes things to be calm and laid-back in her life. She is not a fan of big changes, frequent visitors, or visiting dogs as they give her anxiety. As long as Juliet has her person and snuggles, she is happy.
- Training: This adorable girl has been working hard on her training in her foster home. She has good leash-walking skills and is a polite passenger in the car. She is still working on her social skills and general basic manners. She will require a family that can commit to continuing the training she has started in her foster home.
- Medical: Juliet is a healthy gal! She does take daily medication to manage her general anxiety. The cost of this is approximately $8 per month. Aside from this, she requires her monthly heartworm and flea preventative, like any other pooch.
- Other Animals: Juliet will require a home with no other animals. She prefers to have her humans to herself.
- Children: A home with no children is required for Juliet.
- Home: A single-family home or dog-friendly apartment living would be just fine for this beautiful pup! She requires a calm and laid-back home without frequent visitors and a dog-savvy, snuggle-loving human.
- Grooming: As a short-haired pup, Juliet does not require any frequent trips to the groomer. She just needs her regular baths and nail trims.
- Overall: Juliet is sure to thrive in a calm and loving home with a human who loves her just as much as she loves them!
Are you the one for Juliet? Visit our website www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org where you will find the application to adopt. You’ll be put in contact with her foster family for more information if it’s a potential match. She is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, and heartworm negative. Her adoption donation is $300.

Chihuahua, ,Meet Kita! This 8-year-old darling Chihuahua weighs 5 lbs. Kita is a precious little cuddle bug that is sure to melt your heart.
- General Behavior: Kita is a tiny pooch who only wants to be held, snuggled, and loved by her person. She basks in any attention she can get from her people and finds much enjoyment in their companionship.
- Likes & Dislikes: Aside from spending time with her family, Kita enjoys snuggling in any comfy blankets and beds available to her.
- Training: This senior gal has good basic manners, walks well on a leash, and rides politely in the car. She does well with her housetraining when let out frequently.
- Medical: Little Kita has some weakness in her back legs, which comes with her age and small size. She gets around just fine. She requires her monthly heartworm and flea preventative like any other pooch.
- Other Animals: Kita enjoys the companionship of other small dogs and would benefit from having another like-sized pooch in her forever home. She has not yet been introduced to any cats but we think she would do just fine.
- Children: Due to her tiny size, Kita will require a home without children. Teenagers would be okay.
- Home: A single-family home or dog-friendly apartment living would be just fine for Kita! She will need either a human that is home more often than not, or a small canine companion to keep her company throughout the day.
- Grooming: This Chihuahua girl does not require any elaborate grooming other than her regular baths and nail trims.
- Overall: Kita is a complete love bug that any dog-lover would be lucky to have as their companion.
Are you the one for Kita? Visit our website www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org where you will find the application to adopt. You’ll be put in contact with her foster family for more information if it’s a potential match. She is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, and heartworm negative. Chihuahua, Terriers (Medium),Meet Marcus! This 1-year-old Chihuahua-Terrier blend weighs 18 lbs. Marcus is a happy, cheerful, and playful pup full of so much love to bring into an active family.
- General Behavior: Marcus is a young pooch with lots of puppy energy! He can often be found dashing around his foster dad's backyard, chasing after the hose, or engaging in a quick session of zoomies. He is quite the curious fella, and everything he comes across is new and exciting to him.
- Likes & Dislikes: This active guy loves to play, play, play all day! Whether it be with his canine or human friends, Marcus is always on the go! He enjoys playing fetch and running around outdoors, then going inside for a quality snuggle session and giving kisses.
- Training: As a young pup, Marcus is still working on his training skills, including his basic manners and leash walking. He has been introduced to housetraining, in which he does well when let out frequently. He will require a family that is patient and committed to working on his skills with him.
- Medical: Marcus is a healthy boy and will just require his monthly heartworm and flea prevention, like any other dog.
- Other Animals: Magnificent Marcus interacts well with other dogs. He has not been introduced to any cats, but due to his high energy level and desire to "run and chase," a home with cats would not be recommended.
- Children: Marcus would be best suited for a home with older children (8+) who would not easily be knocked over by this playful guy.
- Home: A single-family home with a secure fenced-in yard is required for Marcus. He has lots of energy and needs the space to run and exert it. Like any dog, he should never be left unattended, even in a securely fenced yard. He would benefit from an active family that is home throughout the day, who can provide him with the attention, training, and love that he deserves.
- Grooming: Marcus is a short-haired pup who will not require any extensive grooming. He just needs his regular baths and nail trims.
- Overall: Marcus is an avid fetch player who will make for a great running buddy and a cuddly companion.
Are you the one for Marcus? Visit our website www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org, where you will find the application to adopt. You'll be put in contact with his foster family if it's a potential match. Permanent Residents
Some of our dogs will stay in our care forever. Some have been through so much change and trauma in their lives that putting them through more change isn’t in their best interest, others may have medical needs or need hospice care – these dogs will remain in PPR foster care for the rest of their lives as Permanent Residents.
